Upon assumption of duty, the Permanent Secretary of Federal Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar Kana mni has promised Nigerians that a National Carrier will soon be birthed. He also promised the revamp of airports across the country. Abubakar Kana made this known at the Ministry's headquarters in Abuja during the handing-over ceremony organized by the Ministry.
Kana, former Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Defence said that his statement is premised upon President Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda in the aviation sector adding that he would give unreserved support to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo in the actualization of Nigeria national carrier as well as upgrade of the airports across Nigeria to international standard.
“Resources are scarce, we need to embrace the private sector to support Nigeria's Aviation industry", he added. Kana maintained that he believes in doing new things and appealed to all the Agencies of the Ministry to support the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
