In an effort to fulfill the Renewed Hope Agenda of the present administration, the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development has inaugurated a Ministerial Delivery Task Team for the Ministry and its agencies on the implementation of the Ministerial Mandate. The event took place recently at CBN International Institute, Maitama, Abuja.
Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Dr. Emmanuel Meribole, in his keynote address, stated that the Ministerial Mandate is a key component of Government’s policy thrust that showcases the performances of all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) on implementation of the Eight Priority Areas of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Administration.
The priority areas are as follows:
- Food Security
- Economic Growth and Job Creation
- Ending Poverty
- Access to Capital
- Inclusivity: Drawing on all skill bases
- Security
- Fairness and Rule of Law
- Fighting Corruption
Meribole charged the Delivery Task Team to work diligently to ensure that accurate data/information is inputted on the Ministerial Mandate Reporting Templates and timely submission of the Ministry’s report to the Central Delivery Coordination Unit (CDCU).
Director of Planning, Research, and Statistics (PRS), Ibrahim Lawan, stated that the workshop was a result of a retreat organized by the Special Adviser to the President on Policy and Coordination to strategize and agree on modalities to track the implementation of Ministerial Deliverables.
Special Adviser to the President on Policy and Coordination and Head of the Central Delivery Coordination Unit (CDCU), Hadiza Bala Usman, represented by Esege Ebei Esege, appreciated the Ministry for aligning with the vision of Mr. President.
